We are very proud of our schools. Sneads Elementary consistently scores an “A” on the state report card. Grand Ridge Middle and Sneads High School is following in their footsteps making an “A” and “B” as well. We have great teachers who love to teach kids and always have the best interest of our children at heart.

Sports are big in our town. Our high school girl volleyball team is the 1-A State Champions nine years back-to-back; 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Creating a new state record for nine consecutive state championships for 1-A schools. Our other high school sports like football, baseball, softball, track, and beach volleyball are also hard to beat on their respected fields. We are very proud of our students, student athletes, schools, teachers and staff.

However, if sports aren’t your kids choice of afterschool activities then maybe they could be a part of the band, Beta club, Student Council or the Future Farmers of America (FFA) clubs. The Sneads High School FFA team has produced several top placing state and winning teams over the years. In 2022 the FFA Agricultural Communications Team won State and was recognized with a Silver Emblem Award at Nationals. In 2023 the FFA Agricultural Sales Team won State and will be going back to Nationals in October 2023.
