Town Hall is located at 2028 Third Ave in the white house. The house built in 1956, was known as the Forman House. The orginial structure building being the home of Ralph P Forman and Mattie Lou King Forman.
Town Hall is where all Utility Billing, Occupational Licenses, Developmental Orders, Town Rentals, Council Meetings and all other town business is done.
Town Manager
The Town Manager is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Town Council. As the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town, the Town Manager is solely responsible for the efficient administration of all town government departments. The duties and powers of the Town Manager include enforcing all laws and ordinances, and legislation necessary for the operation of the town; preparing the town’s recommended budget; informing the governing body of the town’s financial position; representing the town with other governmental, private or non-profit agencies and citizens; and other such duties as may be required by ordinance or resolution of the council. In fulfilling the above duties, the Town Manager is aided by the many employees each day.
Town Clerk/ Chief Financial Officer
The Town Clerk’s Office is committed to providing prompt, courteous, and professional customer services to all citizens, visitors, and town employees in an efficient and effective manner, and to preserve accurate and complete town records with ease of access to all customers, as directed by state law, and to conduct financial business of the town in the most efficient manner possible.
The Clerk’s office is responsible for the following: Human Resources, Public Records, Finance, Budget, Elections, Grant Administration Comprehensive Planning, and other administrative duties, as necessary.
